Wet cleaning and dry cleaning

Traditional cleaning methods include rinsing chemicals, waste, oil and grease. The use of invisible or fluorescent lights is becoming a popular audit tool in industries where pollution prevention or infection is critical. Some microorganisms can be detected under fluorescent light.

Cleaning audits can go a step further when using fluorescent tools. Areas to be cleaned in the factory can be marked with “invisible marks”. Once the cleaning is complete, you can use the fluorescent torch to see if the invisible mark is still present. If the invisible traces still exist, the surface is not sufficiently cleaned.
More stringent infection control program

The process of implementing a “protection” food and beverage processing environment is almost as important as cleaning itself.

An example of a protective process can be seen in the use of ultraviolet (UV) irradiation methods. UV light continues to protect and disinfect the environment after cleaning. If a surface is contaminated during production time, the microorganisms will grow for 12 hours or longer when the plant is shut down for one day or non-production time. Ultraviolet light can act as a “night watchman” of bacteria during production downtime, thereby reducing the risk of such contamination.
